Jaycees of Gainesville Florida Gatornationals Campground

The NHRA Gatornationals provide the backdrop for the Gainesville Jaycees largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from this event enabled the Jaycees to donate over $25,000 to local and statewide charities including hurricane relief during 2004. Through an agreement with the City of Gainesville, the Jaycees have secured rights to the campground facilities nearest the event. Using thousands of hours of member donated labor, many of the campsites now contain running water.

Choosing to stay at the Jaycee Campgrounds during the Gatornationals affords both fans and teams the benefit of the nearest facilities to the host track for the event the Gainesville Raceway. The campgrounds will open on Monday, March 9th, with a minimum stay through Sunday, March 15th. The campgrounds will offically close on Monday March 16th. All sites are first come, first serve, and there are no reservations. Please see our Gatornational Camping Ratess. Ice will be available for purchase and campfires will be permitted unless an "Alachua County Burn Ban" is in effect. The campground will also have a phone.

Should you have further questions, contact us online or the Jaycees may be reached via phone (352) 376-9836.

The Campgrounds are located on the corner of County Road 225 and NE 77th Ave approximately 2 miles South of the Raceway.
