Gainesville Jaycees Community Events

The Junior Chamber of Commerce or "Jaycees" was formed as a "constructive action organization of young persons who devoted a portion of their time to community service in the public interest, developing young persons as leaders of their community". Today that same belief is embodied and continued by the young professionals of the Gainesville Jaycees as they seek to improve the community through various charities and fundraisers.

Currently the Gainesville Jaycees sponsor two major fundraising events each year: The Gatornationals Campgrounds and the Jaycees Haunted House. Money from these events is distributed to local schools and charities. The Gainesville Jaycees are always open to sponsoring local charities and community events. From bowl-a-thons to golf tournaments (a favorite of our members), chances are if a good cause can be supported by having a good time, we'll be there.
